Baie Ternay

A hidden treasure of the Seychelles, Baie Ternay is a site of breathtaking beauty and unparalleled marine richness. Lighthouse Site

Located at the tip of the Marine Park of Baie Ternay in the Seychelles, Lighthouse is a site of granite formations that offers an easy and accessible dive for all levels. With a maximum depth of 20 meters, this site may seem straightforward, but it holds extraordinary surprises! Lighthouse is renowned for its magical encounters with pelagic species. You might be fortunate enough to spot the majestic whale shark, which occasionally makes an unforgettable appearance in these waters. This unique experience has the potential to turn your dive into a magical and memorable moment.

Twin Barges

The Twin Barges consist of two shipwrecks, each approximately thirty meters long. Accessible to Open Water divers due to their moderate depth of around 20 meters, they offer remarkable marine diversity. These wrecks, submerged for over 20 years, have allowed corals to fully develop, providing a dynamic habitat for a multitude of marine species. The conditions here are particularly favorable, making it an enjoyable and accessible dive suitable for all skill levels.

Aquarium

One of the most popular dive sites in the Seychelles, Aquarium is accessible to divers of all levels and gets its name from its diverse marine life. What sets it apart are the unusual finds among the corals, such as the frogfish, the Indian walkfish, and even the emperor shrimp. It’s a perfect option for a relaxing dive, offering an accessible experience for everyone in a well-preserved natural environment.

Aldebaran

Often cited as one of the most magnificent dive sites in the Seychelles, the Aldebaran wreck is accessible only to experienced divers due to its depth of 30 to 40 meters. The shipwreck itself is remarkable, providing the opportunity to observe the majestic guitar shark or even the goliath grouper. Note that, due to this depth, dives are generally limited to a maximum of 30 minutes. Exercise caution and enjoy this experience safely.

L'Îlot

A small island located at the northern tip of Mahé, this dive site ranges from the surface down to 18 meters. Although there may be a slight current, the dive remains accessible and is characterized by the presence of soft corals, turtles, reef sharks, and eagle rays. Occasionally, you might even have the chance to spot dolphins. The view of the island during the dive and at the end of your exploration leaves a lasting impression of the very essence of the Seychelles.

Conception

A granite island located to the west of Mahé, Conception stands out for its unique topography in the long-distance zone. Majestic granite boulders extend from the surface down to 20 meters deep, creating natural shelters for marine life. This dive offers the chance to observe the majestic whale shark during the season, as well as other pelagic species.

Kap Matoupa

Located at one of the western tips of the Baie Ternay Marine Park, Kap Matoupa is accessible from the Open Water level. This granite site often provides the opportunity to observe the majestic Napoleon fish. The dive ranges from the surface to a depth of 20 meters, offering an immersive and diverse experience in the waters of the Seychelles.

Stork Patch

An exceptionally beautiful site located to the south of the Seychelles. Our dive center, situated in the north of Mahé, is the only one offering trips to this remarkable location. Thanks to our boat, we can venture this far and provide this exclusive experience. This remote site is worth waiting for favorable weather conditions. Accessible from the Open Water level, Stork Patch offers the opportunity to swim with grey reef sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, dolphins, and occasionally even the majestic whale shark. It is one of our favorite destinations, providing an unforgettable dive in the pristine waters of the Seychelles.

Brissare Rock

Situated in a remote location, Brissare Rock is accessible to both beginner and advanced divers. It offers stunning views with its colorful corals. Due to its distance, it is rarely visited, providing unique encounters with sharks, rays, and turtles. This site is available when weather conditions permit, primarily between March and May, and from September to December.

Dragon Teeth

The companion dive site to Brissare Rock, Dragon Teeth stands as a pinnacle rock just a few meters below the surface. Often explored immediately after Brissare Rock, this site also offers preserved marine life and impressive underwater landscapes.

Ennerdale

The largest wreck in the Seychelles, Ennerdale is located far from Mahé and is difficult to access. Atoll Divers has developed boats specifically designed to ensure safe and easy exploration of these sites. In fact, we are the only dive center that regularly offers dives on the Ennerdale wreck. This 270-meter-long oil tanker sank in the 1970s after a navigational accident. The wreck is enormous and hosts a multitude of Seychelles marine species, including nurse sharks and grey reef sharks. Diving experience is required to explore Ennerdale, as the wreck lies between 20 and 27 meters deep.

Harrisson Rock

A picturesque dive site located on the edge of the Sainte-Anne Marine Park. Accessible to all levels, it is also an ideal site for snorkeling. This small granite island offers an impressive display of the biodiversity of eastern Mahé. It’s not uncommon to spot dolphins hunting around the island, adding a magical touch to this underwater experience.

Bitter Rock

Undoubtedly one of our top dive site choices, Bitter Rock is one of the most remote sites from Mahé, making it a true gem. At Atoll Divers, we regularly include it in our full-day safari excursions. This site boasts some of the most impressive marine life in the Seychelles. Encounters with sharks, giant rays, Napoleon wrasse, schools of tuna, and more are common. The underwater landscape at Bitter Rock rivals that of the Maldives or French Polynesia. We recommend having at least 20 dives logged and waiting for calm seas before embarking on this unforgettable adventure.

Lost City

The Lost City dive site in the Seychelles is renowned for its captivating underwater landscape, reminiscent of ancient ruins. Located in the Sainte Anne Marine Park, it is easily accessible from Mahé. Divers discover imposing rock formations adorned with vibrant corals, teeming with marine life. Reef sharks, rays, turtles, and even dolphins or whales may be spotted. With excellent visibility, it promises an unforgettable adventure in a world of mystery and beauty.

Malgache

A remote and challenging site often due to demanding conditions. However, when conditions are favorable, it offers a wild aspect of nature, a hunting ground where sharks and tuna come to feed. This dive is reserved for experienced divers.

Casse Hache

Near the Sainte Anne Marine Park and Club Mediterranean, this site is remote and intense, offering impressive encounters with large specimens. It is known for enormous stingrays and porcelain lobsters. Situated between 20 and 30 meters deep, this dive is reserved for experienced divers.

The Silhouettes Banks

The Silhouettes Banks offer an extraordinary dive in a unique underwater landscape. These rocky formations rise from the depths, creating tunnels and arches to explore. With abundant marine life, including tropical fish and turtles, the Pinnacles are a must-visit for experienced divers seeking underwater adventure in the Seychelles.

North Island
